Codependency

Codependency is a sculptural ceramic vase comprised of two discrete vessels interlocked with one another. The tall handles of each vessel arch toward one another, bending to meet. These handles were chain-linked together during initial building with raw clay and continued through the firing and glazing process like this. While each vessel can be moved independantly, it can only be repositioned within the limits allowed by the other vessel. To separate one from its partner would require at least one handle to be broken.
